Welcome to Precision English

A2: Elementary

Hello, friends.

This is my first blog post on a new website. Thank you for visiting.

I also want to thank Spain. Spain is a friendly country. I am happy to be here. I came to Madrid with my wife. She is from Colombia. She helps me with Spanish.

I am an English teacher. I have taught English in six countries. But Madrid surprised me. There are many language schools here, but they are not organized. In Madrid, there are many English "teachers" with low-level skills or no experience. This is a problem.

But a problem can be a chance. Good English can help you. It can help you find a job. It can help you publish your work. It can help you study at a good university.

Do you want better English? Contact me. We can talk for free. We can talk about your level and your goals. After that, you can start to learn.

In American English, we say: "Go get that bread!" (This means: go and get success.)

B2: Upper-intermediate

Good day, friends.

This is my very first blog post, on a brand-new website, and I'd just like to thank you for taking the time to visit and engage with me at the beginning of this new enterprise.

I'd also like to give a big thank you to the country of Spain for being so welcoming, and giving me the opportunity to experience your culture, your natural beauty, and of course your friendship. I was lucky to come to Madrid with my Colombian wife, who has been my guide to este mundo hispanohablante.

I've taught English in six countries on four continents, but when I moved to Madrid, I was shocked by the educational landscape. Disorganized language schools, untrained teachers. Have you noticed? Everybody who speaks a few words of English here thinks he's a teacher. It's a disaster!

But a disaster can also be an opportunity, for both you and me. Because when you're in the market for jobs, publications, or program admission, English fluency is something that can either hold you back or set you apart.

If you're someone who wants your language skills to set you apart, contact me. We'll set up a free consultation: we'll talk about where you are, and what kind of goals we should set together. And I'm confident that after that, you'll be ready to start learning.

As we say in U.S. slang, "Go get that bread!"
