I was lucky to come to Madrid with my Colombian wife, who has been my guide to <em>este mundo hispanohablante</em>.</p> <p>I've taught English in six countries on four continents, but when I moved to Madrid, I was shocked by the educational landscape. Disorganized language schools, untrained teachers. Have you noticed? Everybody who speaks a few words of English here thinks he's a teacher. It's a disaster!</p> <p>But a disaster can also be an opportunity, for both you and me.
